Dhenkanal: A person was killed while five others were critically injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by an over-speeding truck on NH-55 near Gobindpur in Dhenkanal district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as the driver of the autorickshaw. The injured, Sushanta Nayak, his wife Sabita and two sons Lipun and Sipun and Sandip Maharana, were rushed to the district headquarters hospital.
The accident took place while they were on their way to Banadurga temple near Dhenkanal.
