One Dead In IOCL Filling Station Blast In Bhubaneswar

Cuttack: A man from Ganjam district, who was critically injured in the IOCL filling station blast near Raj Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday, died while undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack early on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Satya Nayak.

Informing the media, Emergency Officer of the SCB Bhubanananda Maharana said that the Capital Hospital on Wednesday had referred two critically injured persons to the SCB for treatment of whom Satya Nayak has succumbed to his injuries. “The deceased had sustained severe head injuries with 60 per cent burn injuries,” he added.

He also said that the condition of another patient who has sustained 40 per cent burn is also critical.
