While Swain died on the spot, the other persons was seriously injured. The injured person was admitted in a hospital. On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body. Further investigation is on.
Berhmapur: One person died and another sustained critical injuries as their motorcycle fell from a bridge in Bhanjanagar of Ganjam district on Sunday.
According to sources, the incident took place when Gourishankar Swain of Patulisahi village in Bhanjanagar and another person, who is yet to be identified, were crossing the Badanadi bridge at Naugaon village in Bhanjanagar on the bike. Swain lost balance midway and the bike plunged 20 feet down from the bridge.
While Swain died on the spot, the other persons was seriously injured. The injured person was admitted in a hospital. On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body. Further investigation is on.
