Angul: One person died and three others, including a nine-month pregnant woman, sustained injuries after the auto-rickshaw they were travelling in met with an accident on Friday.
The pregnant woman, identified as Amani Sahoo, was referred to Angul hospital as she required emergency treatment.
According to reports, Amani and her family members were returning from hospital in an auto-rickshaw after a check-up when a dry branch of a sal tree along the road, fell on the vehicle.
Amani’s aunt died on the spot while the injured, including the driver, were rushed to a local hospital.
