One Killed, Two Injured In Mukhyamantri Bus-Bike Collision In Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: One person was killed and two others were injured in a collision between a Mukhyamantri Bus and a bike in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Tuesday.

According to sources, the accident took place when Binayak Sabar of Badapadar village under Beguniapada police station in the district and three others including an 8-month-old baby were going on a bike from Sinhasini.

As they reached Gambharia square, Binayak’s bike collided head on with the Mukhyamantri bus going from Polasara to Sinhasini. Binayak died on the spot while two pillion drivers were injured.

On being informed, a police team went to the spot and sent the injured persons, identified as Manu Sabar and Priyanka Sabar, to the community health centre (CHC) at Beguniapada. Fortunately, the infant boy, carried by Priyanka on her lap, escaped unscathed in the accident.

The police sent Binayak’s body for post-mortem and registered a case.
