Bhadrak: Chandbali MLA Byomkesh Ray on Monday tweeted to inform that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
The BJD legislator stated that his health condition is stable. He requested the people who came in contact with him recently to undergo COVID-19 test and remain in home isolation.
Ray also expressed regret for not beingable to serve the flood-hit people of his constituency.
Earlier, Rural Development Minister Susanta Singh, Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, Nilagiri MLA Sukanta Nayak, Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Polsara MLA Srikant Sahu, Remuna MLA Sudhansu Sekhar Parida, Salepur MLA Prasant Behera, BJP MP from Bargarh Suresh Pujari, Bhadrak MLA Sanjib Mallick and Bhadrak MP Manjulata Mandal had tested positive positive for the virus.
