Angul: One more person tested positive for coronavirus in the district on Tuesday, taking the total cases to 49.
The 22-year-old affected person had returned from Tamil Nadu and stayed in a quarantine centre in Chhendipada block of the district since June 11. After he tested corona positive, he has been sent to COVID Hospital in Talcher, said district collector Manoj Kumar Mohanty.

Meanwhile, two more persons have recovered from COVID-19 and are under observation at COVID Care Centre. They were under treatment since June 7. The total recovered cases in the district have now gone up to 33.
