One-Night Stands To Forced Abortions, Somy Ali’s Shocking Allegations Against Salman Khan

Mumbai: Salman Khan’s ex-flame Somy Ali, during a recent ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Reddit, made explosive revelations about her relationship with the ‘Dabangg’ actor.

Somy alleged that Salman not only physically abused her but also made her go through forced abortions, the details of which she will be sharing soon in her memoir.

She also divulged that Salman slept with backup dancers and extras and never used contraceptives because of which she had to get an STD test done when she shifted to the US.

When a Reddit user asked Somy not to keep nagging about her past relationship with Salman for publicity, the actress-turned-social activist replied, “I don’t recall you being in the room when I dumped him for cheating on me a gazillion times last being Ash. I had to get an STD test done upon my return to the US because he even slept with extras, backup dancers, and given his brain never fully developed like normal people I know he did not use contraceptives.”

When users asked Somy why she left the film industry, she revealed she was tired of her boyfriend’s nightstands.

“Because I was tired of Salman’s 8-night stands, not one. Also, I didn’t appreciate being physically and verbally abused on a daily basis. I left when a boyfriend was with some new girl named Ash! I was tired of his 8 nightstands! And I finished my education,” shared Somy.

Sharing about Salman’s ex-girlfriends Aishwarya and Katrina, Somy said, “He abused Aishwarya severely, and I think he may have even fractured her shoulder. As for Katrina, I’m not certain of the details.”

Asked why she apologised to the Bishnoi community on behalf of her ex-boyfriend despite having ill feelings for him, Somy said, “Because I don’t want to talk to Salman, I would rather meet with the leader of the Bishnoi community who seems like a very stable individual and well respected, as opposed to Lawrence and Salman, who both need therapy. And I am willing to offer it to Lawrence free of cost as a therapist.”

When asked if anyone from the industry reached out to her for help and support, Somy stated that everyone is scared that Salman would ruin their career like he did with Vivek Oberoi and Sonu Nigam.

“No. They are terrified of Salman as he murders careers like Vivek Oberoi and Sonu Nigam are just a few examples,” she replied.

Somy believes that joining Bollywood was the silliest decision she has ever made.

“Well I didn’t there to act. I went on a stupid teenage crush which is why they say you should meet your idols in real life and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I think Ted Bundy had better manners than Salman,” said Somy while talking about her Bollywood debut.

When a user asked why she keeps deleting her posts on Salman’s abusive behaviour soon after sharing them on social media, Somy replied, “Instagram retracted it from the complaints an abuser has registered. Because I am working on a novel. And my publicist tells me to delete the post after I have posted it. Just like the app SNAPCHAT. So, if you catch the post, you are lucky.”

However, netizens were not fully convinced with Somy’s allegations against Salman. While some felt that it was a publicity gimmick, others believed that Somy wanted to take revenge on Salman as the actor had dumped her for Aishwarya.

One person wrote, “Salman blocking her from acting in the US seems far-fetched.”

“Those answers sound a little too good to be true, like they were tailor-made to have the public engaged. Just my opinion,” wrote another person.

One user wrote, “100%. Engagement bait.”

Somy Ali dated Salman Khan in the 1990s. She stepped into the Bollywood industry in 1993 with the film ‘Anth’ and left the industry after her break-up with Salman in 1999.

A social activist at present, Somy runs an NGO named No More Tears. She is currently writing a memoir about her past relationship with Salman.
