Bhubaneswar: One more COVID-19 case has been detected in the Odisha capital in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 185 on Sunday.
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation in a tweet identified the patient as a 73-years-old man of Niladri Vihar in Chandrasekharpur. A contact of an earlier positive case, he was under treatment at a private hospital.
He has now been shifted to a COVID hospital.
On the other hand, seven patients recovered from the infection on Sunday, taking the recovery total to 93.
A four-year-old boy of Krishna Vihar in Patrapada, a 29-year-old man of New Forest Park, a 47-year-old man of 120-Battalion under Unit-V, a 29-year-old man of Subash Nagar Basti under Dumduma, 31-year-old and 30-year-old women of AIIMS under Patrapada, a 25-years-old woman of Central Government Hospital have been cured, the tweet added.
With three death and 93 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 88 active cases.
