New Delhi: OnePlus on Thursday launched a new phone in the OnePlus 7 series – the OnePlus 7T. As promised, the phone has a 90 Hz Fluid display. It was announced that all future OnePlus phones will have a fluid display, which is not similar to 90 Hz.

Here are the prices:

OnePlus 7T 8GB RAM/128GB storage – Rs 37,999
OnePlus 7T 8GB RAM/256GB storage – Rs 39,999

The new Super AMOLED display has a 20:9 ratio. It has HDR 10+ support for YouTube, Netflix and Prime. The screen has 40 per cent lower blue light emission. It also comes with a chromatic display mode for reading where it reduces saturation levels.

For photography, OnePlus 7T is said to offer a triple-camera setup of 48-megapixel primary sensor, 16-megapixel 117-degree ultra wide-angle sensor and telephoto lens. The camera offers a hybrid image stabilisation, combining the EIS and OIS prowess. The macro mode lets users shoot images from as little as 2.5 cm away.

OnePlus claims it is the best performing phone. Similar to OnePlus 7 Pro, the 7T also features Snapdragon 855+ processor, and UFS 2.0, which is the fastest internal storage.

The smartphone has been launched in two storage variants of 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.6.55-inch 2K Super AMOLED display and a 3,800mAh battery. The phone comes with Warp Charge 30T that will help charge 23 per cent faster than the current models.

The OnePlus 7T is the first phone to feature Android 10 out of the box, as reported earlier. It will be Oxygen OS based and have new features such as Work-Life mode where one can select which apps to receive notifications from. The OS will sort out messages with quick responses such as ‘copy your OTP’ or ‘call delivery guy’. The OS will have a new ‘International Roaming’ feature that will help one to select roaming packages without any data charge upon reaching a foreign country.

OnePlus Pay will be launching next year.

The OnePlus 7T is 8.1 mm thick. It comes in two colour options – glacier blue and frosted silver.

At the launch event, it was revealed that OnePlus will invest Rs 1000 crore in the recently launched Hyderabad R&D centre. There will be a 2-hour doorstep repair service. OnePlus assured that no matter what the issue, it will be solved in 2 hours. This is being done in Bengaluru since a month and will be launched in 6 cities by the end of this year. OnePlus is currently number one in the premium smartphone segment in India and has a 43 per cent market share in Q2.
