OnePlus 7T To Feature Warp Charge 30T

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has revealed that the new OnePlus 7T phone will feature a new generation of its fast charging tech – Warp Charge 30T. This will help charge devices 23 per cent faster than the current models.

The OnePlus 7 supports 20W fast charge while OnePlus 7 Pro supports 30W Warp Charge. The new charge tech delivers 6A at 5V to attain 30W, said Lau.

The new Warp Charge handles the power management inside the power brick instead of inside the phone and that allows the phone to remain cool while charging during use as well.

Pushing boundaries of fast charging are Samsung at 45W and Huawei at 40W.

OnePlus, however, hasn’t introduced a wireless charger yet, with Lau stating that wireless charging speeds are not high enough.
