Mayurbhanj: A car was crushed under a onion-laden truck after it overturned and fell on it at Bangiriposhi Ghati in Mayurbhanj district on Friday night.
According to the sources, a truck was stranded at the Ghati due to some mechanical problem, following which its owner and some mechanics went to the spot in a car for the repair work. They parked the car along the roadside.
Meanwhile, driver of another truck loaded with onions lost control over the vehicle and it overturned and fell on the parked car, damaging it completely
No casualty has been reported in the incident.
On being informed, the fire service personnel and police reached the spot and launched a rescue operation.
