Online Application Process For 477 SIs Recruitment In Odisha Police Begins

Bhubaneswar: The online application process to recruit 477 sub-inspector (SIs) began on Tuesday.

The Odisha Police Recruitment Board had invited applications for the combined competitive recruitment examination 2021 for the posts on a contractual basis.

Till 12 pm, https://odipolsi21.onlineapplicationform.org/ODIPOL/ saw 2831 applicants registering for the posts while 722 submitted their online application, the Board said.

It further added that there will be a single written computer-based exam of 2 papers with MCQ type objective questions instead of prelims and essay type main exam. The PET will be only qualifying in nature. and there will be no viva voce.

Transgenders are also eligible to apply for these posts. Odisha is the second state after Tamil Nadu to allow TG recruitment at the SI level.

The last date of online application is July 15. The tentative date for the exam: August 6 to 16.
