Bhubaneswar: To ensure online education amid COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in association with Facebook India, has decided to impart digital training to teachers and students.
The first phase digital training of the CBSE teachers and students will be held between August and November. On successful completion of the training, the trainees will be issued e-Certificate by the CBSE and Facebook India.
Initially, 10,000 teachers will undergo three-week training. They can register between July 6 and 20 while the training will begin on August 10.
Similarly, the registration will be held between July 6 and 20 for a three-week digital training for 10,000 students while the training will begin from August 6.
The names of the teachers and the students after their successful completion of the training will be uploaded on the CBSE website.
In the second phase, a digital safety programme will be conducted for 30,000 students in each group.
