Online Registration For Admission Into MBBS, BDS Begins In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The online registration of NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)-qualified students for admission into MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) streams began in Odisha on Thursday.

The registration will continue till June 25 while the list of registered students will be announced on June 26. Verification of documents of these students will be carried out at the nodal centres from June 26 to 29.

As informed by Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) chairman Sudip Kumar Chand, the state merit list will be announced on July 1 while the students will be allowed to carry out choice locking on July 1 and 2. The students can download the provisional allotment letter from the OJEE website www.ojeeodisha.nic.in. This will be followed by the first round of admission from July 5 to 9 and a second round from July 27 to 30. The spot admission for vacant seats will be held between August 4 and 8.

The OJEE chairman also informed that the counselling for admission into engineering streams has also begun from Thursday.
