Bhubaneswar: A fan club here named ‘Odisha Akkians’ celebrates every movie release of Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.
The 90-odd die-hard fans make it a point to be present on the first day first show with banners, posters and cake. This time the cake was designed for the star’s latest release ‘2.0’.
The Bollywood actor took note of this and expressed his gratitude on Twitter.
The group members also visit orphanages on Akshay’s birthday every year. They also participate in Swachch Bharat campaigns across the city.
Seeing Akshay’s reply, the group tweeted back inviting him to visit Bhubaneswar for the closing ceremony of Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup.
