OPD Services Of AIIMS-Bhubaneswar To Resume On November 2
Bhubaneswar: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), here has decided to resume the OPD services from November 2 because of the growing demand of the patients.
The OPD of the Central government hospital was closed from July 10 due to COVID-19 pandemic. But day-care services, radiotherapy, dialysis, trauma & emergency, lifesaving surgery and IPD services were available. Similarly, the telemedicine consultation and “AIIMS Bhubaneswar Swasthya” App were continuing, according to an AIIMS release.
After resumption of OPD services, the number of registrations will be restricted to 30 patients per department per day until November 8. The number will be increased to 50 patients per department day for a week from November 9.
After that, an assessment for an increase in number will be made. As such, patients’ overall routine check-ups will be continued through the “AIIMS Bhubaneswar Swasthya” App and Telemedicine (WhatsApp Call). Secondly, proportionate IPD services, including all 14 MOTs, will also start functioning from November 2, the release stated.
