Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Tuesday directed the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Crime Branch to submit a comprehensive status report on its investigation into the murder of five-year-old girl Pari of Jadupur village in Nayagarh district.
The court while reviewing the preliminary status report, directed the SIT to submit a comprehensive status report for the next hearing on March 25.
On January 8, the SIT had sought the permission of the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) for brain mapping of the juvenile accused in the case.
The investigating agency had moved the Board in this regard after the latter rejected the petition for narco test of the accused.
