Bhubaneswar: Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL) has donated Rs 10 lakh to Mahavinayak Vidyayan, Barchana, under ‘Mo School Abhiyan’.

It may be recalled that the OSL had recently extended financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh to the schools of Cuttack district under the ambitious “Mo School Abhiyan Parichalana Sangathan” (MSAPS) launched by the Odisha government.

The donation is expected to help provide a boost towards building infrastructure on the school campus necessary to fulfil smart school requirements, according to a press release.

Speaking on the purpose of such a support and contribution, Managing Director, OSL Group, Mahimananda Mishra said OSL is proudly contributing to “ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning”.

“We will provide our full support to the Odisha Government’s Mo School Abhiyaan, a robust approach towards building a brighter future for the state and its people,” Mishra was quoted as saying in the release.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik started the ‘Mo School Abhiyan’ in 2017 to revamp the state’s school ecosystem.
