Vigilance Raid On Pollution Board Chief Engineer; Check Assets Detected In Bhubaneswar & Other Places
Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance on Thursday carried out simultaneous raids on the properties of Chief Engineer of Odisha State Pollution Control Board, Rabi Narayana Prusty, for allegedly accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The Vigilance teams carried out searches at seven locations in Bhubaneswar and Ganjam. The teams comprise eight DSPs, 4 Inspectors and 5 ASIs.
The searches are being conducted at:
- Residential flat located at Kalvik king palace, Patia, Bhubaneswar
- Flat at Gajapati palace, Jagmohan Nagar, Jagamara, Bhubaneswar
- Shop at Barabhuja market complex, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar
- House of relative at Shreeram Vihar, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar
- Flat at Shreekhestra Bhakta Niwas, Bhubaneswar
- House at native place at Nuapada, Nuagaon in Ganjam district
- Office chamber of Prusty at OSPCB, Bhubaneswar
Assets unearthed so far:
1. 1 flat at Patia, Bhubaneswar
2. 1 flat at Puri
3. 1 flat at Grand Bazaar, Nakhara
4. 1 shop at Khandgiri, Bhubaneswar
5. 3 plots at Khurda and Bhubaneswar
6. Bank deposits worth Rs 70 lakh
7. one four-wheeler, two two-wheelers
8. 355-gram gold jewellery
The searches are continuing, an official release said.
