The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) will be holding a recruitment drive to fill up the posts of 20 ‘District Culture Officers’ on contractual basis under the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department.
The date of activation of the online application for the posts will be notified in a detailed advertisement, said a recruitment notification. Interested candidates have been advised to visit the official OSSC website periodically.

Remuneration and service conditions:
The appointment will initially be on contractual basis carrying a consolidated pay of Rs 16,800 per month for the first year. The condition of services shall be governed by Odisha Group-B Posts Contractual Appointment Rules, 2013.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be between 21 and 32 years of age as on January 1, 2019. Relaxation is applicable in case of reserved category candidates.
Educational qualification:
The candidate must have passed MA in History with knowledge in computer. The applicant must have Odia as one of the subjects in HSC or passed examination in Odia in M.E.School standard conducted by the Education Department.

Examination fee:
Candidates must deposit a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 through online mode.
