Bhubaneswar: Vice-Chancellor of Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT), Professor Pawan Agrawal felicitated the students, who recently won the champions trophy at All India Inter-University Youth Festival Agri Unifest 2019-2020 held at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV) at Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
Students of around 60 agriculture universities from all over India participated in 18 competitions, including skit, music, debate, poster making, rangoli and mono-acting, at the fest and the students of OUAT won the championship by coming first in overall performance,.
Prof Agrawal also felicitated music director Sitanshu Rout, Samarendra Naik and Khsitij Kumar Dash for their guidance and support to the students that helped them win the trophy, an OUTA press release said.
The OUAT students who participated in the Agri Unifest are Dibyaswarupa Mohanty, Abhinanda Jena, Anuradha Patra, Baikuntha Prasad Dwibedi, Debadrita Sarkar, Goutami Panigrahi, Vaishali Rout, Samarpan Mishra, Nirmalya Pati, Pratit Priyadarshi, Sai Sandhya Rout, Anchal Subudhi, Sangeeta Priyadarshani Rout, Lokanath Shah, Subhasanket, Arpita Priyadarshani Nanda, Subhalakshmi Rath, Dabasish Sahu, Dharitri Naik, Abhinash Sahu and Suranjita Sahu.
Moreover, coordinator Subodh Pattnaik, Trilochan Samal, Sujata Priyambada, Professor Prasanna Kumar Mishra, Dr Pinaki Samal , Dr Chakradhar Patra, Dr Spandan Saswat Das and Soham Sahu were conferred with the title of mentor at the felicitation event held at Swaminathan Hall in OUAT.
