Bhubaneswar: Over 10 passengers were injured after an Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) bus overturned at Ranipather Ghat in Kantamal area of Odisha’s Boudh district on Wednesday.
According to source, the bus, carrying 40 passengers, was en route to Phulbani from Angul when it hit a road divider, skidded off the road and overturned after the driver lost control over the wheels.
The injured were rescued by Fire Service personnel and sent to Community Health Centre (CHC) at Purunakatak.
Since the Ghat road falls in the area, bordering Boudh’s Purunakatak and Kandhama’s Sudurugupha, police are yet to reach the spot, the source added.
