Over 100 MM Rain In 10 Places In Odisha; Check Forecast, Orange Warning

Bhubaneswar: The Low Pressure Area over coastal Odisha and neighborhood has now become a Well Marked Low Pressure Area with associated cyclonic circulation.

With southwest monsoon active over Odisha, 10 places in seven districts experienced heavy rainfall of over 100 mm in the last 24 hours. Lanjigarh in Kalahandi district experienced the highest 171.6 mm rainfall.

July 13 (Till 8.30 am)

Orange warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, Ganjam nd Nayagarh.

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Rayagada, Gajapati, Khurda, Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Boudh, Sonepur, Bargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Odisha.

July 13 (8.30 am) to July 14 (8.30 am)

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur, Nuapada, Balangir and Bargarh.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of south Odisha and at many places over north Odisha.

July 14 (8.30 am) to July 15 (8.30 am)

Orange warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Boudh, Sambalpur, Sonepur and Bargarh.

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Khurda, Nayagarh, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Deogarh and Kalahandi.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Odisha.

July 15 (8.30 am) to July 16 (8.30 am)

Orange warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balangir, Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Sonepur, Boudh and Deogarh.

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Odisha.

July 16 (8.30 am) to July 17 (8.30 am)

Orange warning: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh and Keonjhar.

Yellow warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bolangir, Nuapada and Nabarangpur.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of interior Odisha and at many places over the districts of coastal Odisha.
