Addressing the gathering as chief guest, Union Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, “Today, our government completed four successful years of governance with the support from the people of this country. Our vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is now gradually seeing the light of the day.”
He said the campaign was initiated to put the spotlight back on ‘Graam’, our villages. “This New India of our dreams can be a reality only if we strengthen our villages and our panchayats, the roots of our democracy. And as the Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, my endeavour is to provide access to quality skill training in both short-term and long-term courses at the local levels,” he added.
The Union Minister urged the youth, their parents and individuals of the society to take advantage of schemes extended by the central government and explore opportunities in traditional skills and new-age technologies, both relevant to today’s market, and equally capable of generating sustainable livelihood.
