Here is a golden opportunity for degree holders who are aspiring for a career in the banking sector.
The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has invited applications for as many as 12,075 clerical vacancies in various nationalised banks across the country.
The online application process will start from September 17.
The vacancies are in Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Andhra Bank, Central Bank and Central Bank of India, among others.
According to the notification, the examination for selection of the candidates will be held online, tentatively in December 2019-January, 2020. The examination will be held in two stages — preliminary and main.
Candidates are requested to click here to read the notification carefully before applying.
IBPS has advised the candidates to regularly visit its official website www.ibps.in for details and updates.
Since recruitment in clerical cadre in the nationalised banks is done on state-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State or UT only. Consequently, the candidate would be required to appear for online examination at any one of the centres in that particular State or UT, the notification said.
