Bhubaneswar: As many as 1303 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals in 28 districts of Odisha on Saturday.
Of the recovered patients, 233 are from Nuapada district, 149 from Khurda, 131 from Sundargarh, 73 from Angul, 64 from Keonjhar, 54 each from Bargarh and Ganjam, 52 from Mayurbhanj and 50 from Cuttack, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, 47 recoveries were reported from Sambalpur, 45 from Puri, 44 each from Balangir and Rayagada, 43 from Kalahandi, 32 from Jharsuguda, 27 from Nabarangpur, 26 from Jajpur, 22 from Balasore, 17 from Bhadrak, 14 from Gajapati and 10 from Nayagarh districts.
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
9 each from Kandhamal and Kendrapada
7 from Jagatsinghpur
6 from Deogarh
4 each from Koraput and Sonepur
1 from Malkangiri
32 from State Pool
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,44,825 while number of active cases has mounted to 19,077 with 3144 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
