Cuttack: The Millenium City saw over 200 new COVID-19 cases for the second consecutive day, which took the total to 4,375 on Friday.
Of the 204 new cases, 56 are from institutional quarantine and 74 from home quarantine. The remaining 74 are local contact cases.
Two among the 54 institutional quarantine cases are from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here.
Five cases each have been reported from CDA Sector-6, College Square and Buxi Bazaar.
The local contact cases include another five from College Square. Four cases each have been reported from Jobra, Rausapatna, Chauliaganj and Buxi Bazaar.
The Cuttack Municipal Corporation informed about another 182 patients getting cured of the infection.
With 23 deaths and 2600 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 1752 active cases.
