Bhubaneswar: About 42,000 students from Odisha sat for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 on Monday.
The three-hour examination, which began at 10am, is being conducted at several centres in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Berhampur, Angul and Balasore.
Notably, the Union Health ministry had postponed the examinations in Odisha because of Cyclone Fani following a request from the state government.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) had conducted NEET for other regions at various centres across the country on May 5. About 13 lakh students had appeared for the examination.
