Pakistan Admits Dawood Ibrahim Is In Karachi, Reveals Address

Dubai: After years of denial, the Pakistan government on Saturday admitted that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is in Karachi.

Dawood, the main accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, is believed to be living at ‘White House, Near Saudi Mosque, Clifton’ in Karachi. His other houses listed are ‘House No 37 – 30th Street – defence, Housing Authority, Karachi’ and ‘Palatial bungalow in the hilly area of Noorabad in Karachi’.

Paris-based Financial Action Task Force (FATF) had put Pakistan on the grey list in June 2018. In a bid to wriggle out of the harsh financial sanctions imposed on the country, Pakistan has disclosed this information along with a list of 88 banned terror groups.

Pakistan claims to have ordered the seizure of properties and freezing of bank accounts of terror groups and their leaders, including Hafiz Saeed (26/11 attack mastermind), Masood Azhar and Dawood.

India has been saying for a long time that Dawood was living in Karachi and this was also confirmed by the UN.
