Pari Murder Case: BJP’s Sambit Patra Casts Doubt On Impartiality OF SIT Probe
Bhubaneswar: BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra on Saturday said the Crime Branch SIT probe into the Pari murder case cannot be impartial without the sacking of minister Arun Kumar Sahoo.
Patra told this to the media before leaving for Jadupur village in Nayagarh district to meet the victim’s family members.
The BJP leader claimed that the people of Odisha know who has kidnapped and murdered Pari. “You can ask the people of Jadupur village. Though the incident has occurred five months ago, police are not able to arrest the prime accused,” he added.
He alleged that the minister concerned is camping in Nayagarh and putting pressure on the Collector and SP. “Under such circumstances, how can the SIT probe be transparent,” he said.
“Unless the minister is removed from his post, the SIT probe will never be impartial. We demand the immediate sacking of the minister,” he added.
