Pari Murder Case: SIT Likely To Conduct Narco Test Of Accused
Nayagarh: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Crime Branch is most likely to conduct a Narco analysis test of Saroj Sethi, who was arrested for allegedly raping and murdering a minor girl at Jadupur village in Nayagarh district, sources said.
The SIT sought permission in this regard from a POCSO court in Nayagarh on Monday, the sources added.
The Narco analysis test involves the intravenous administration of drugs (such as sodium pentothal, scopolamine, and sodium amytal) that cause the subject to enter into various stages of anesthesia. However, the drugs used do not guarantee that the subject will speak only the truth.
