New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Preety Biswal, a Class X student from Odisha’s Jharsuguda, had the opportunity to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the recent Pariksha Pe Charcha programme at Sundar Nursery in New Delhi.
Speaking to the media, Preety said that 36 students had participated in the programme. “He advised us on how not to take stress during exams,” said this student of Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya,
Modi also emphasised that students should remain positive irrespective of the pressure and self-doubt that arises during the exam season.
She further mentioned about the Prime Minister’s advice to treat exams like festivals and not fear them. “The PM is very inspiring and shared valuable insights on how not to feel stressed during exams. It will be very helpful for the Board exams. From now on, I am going to treat the exams like festivals and also engage in co-curricular activities,” she added.
The initiative is aimed at reducing exam stress and inspiring a positive outlook on learning.
Preety was felicitated by Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy and Collector Aboli Sunil Narvane at District Mineral Fund Conference Hall after she returned to Odisha. She was also invited to share her experience of interacting with PM Modi with fellow students.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also felicitated Preety and her father Tejram Biswal, of Lakhanpur in Jharsuguda district.
