Passengers Encounter Breathing Problems On Snag-Hit Mumbai-Mauritius Flight
Mumbai: A malfunctioning in air conditioning system on a flight from Mumbai to Mauritius caused breathing problems for many passengers, including infants and a 78-year-old person, news agency ANI reported.
Soon after boarding, the Air Mauritius aircraft encountered an engine malfunction on Saturday morning, leaving the passengers on board confined for five hours.
The flight which was supposed to depart from Mumbai at 4:30 am on Saturday, initiated boarding at 3:45 am. Passengers endured a five-hour ordeal onboard without permission to disembark, the report added.
The airline decided to cancel the flight after it was unable to rectify the issue, sources said.
