Patient Among Two Killed In Road Accident In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: A patient and another person were killed in a road accident on the outskirts of Cuttack city early on Saturday.

According to sources, an ambulance van carrying the patient from West Bengal with five persons was on way to SCB Medical College and Hospital hit a stationary container near the Tangi-Bandalo toll gate around 4 am.

While two persons died on the spot, two women and a man were seriously injured.

Following information, Tangi police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to SCB. The condition of one injured woman is stated to be critical.

Police have informed the family members of the deceased. They will arrive at SCB later in the day.

The identity of the deceased and the injured persons were not immediately known.
