Bhubaneswar: People in some parts of Odisha capital and neighbouring areas reported hearing loud, booming sound and feeling tremors on Sunday morning.
Though National Center for Seismology (NCS) has shared no update on any seismic activity in Bhubaneswar, several residents panicked after hearing the sound.
“I was sleeping when I heard a noise and then it felt like as if the house has tilted,” said a local resident.
Another resident said that his bicycle fell down when he was out for a morning walk. And similar experience was shared by another. “I was out for a morning walk between 7.10 and 7.20 am when first I heard a sound and experienced some dizziness.
