Berhampur: In order to ensure easy mobility of its women personnel, Ganjam police on Tuesday inducted pink patrolling vehicles for them under the Nirbhaya scheme.
Ganjam Superintendent of Police Brijesh Rai flagged off the vehicles at Chhatrapur on Tuesday.
In the first phase, 21 Hero Motors’s two-wheeler were inducted at Reserve Office in Chhatrapur in the first phase.
These vehicles would be distributed to different police stations of the district for women’s safety, said the SP.
