Plus-III Syllabus To Be Changed From The Academic Year 2019-20

Bhubaneswar: Plus-III syllabus of all the degree colleges affiliated to various universities of Odisha will be changed from the academic year 2019-20.

The Higher Education Department is in the last phase of preparing the model UG syllabus. The prepared draft of the syllabus has been sent to experts for correction. Following this, the Higher Education Department will implement the new syllabus from next year.

According to the sources, a question bank will also be prepared for the students, so that they can follow the possible questions for the examinations.

Like CBSE and NCERT books, model books of various college courses will also be prepared. Emphasis will be given on publishing the result in time.

It has also been decided that the entire fee will be collected from the students at the time of admission, so that they do not have to fill up the form at the time of examinations.

An entrance examination system will be made online for admission into PG courses in all the universities of Odisha.

All the entrance examinations of the degree colleges will be conducted on one date and the result will also be announced on one date.

A ‘State Research Fellowship’ proposal will also be given to the authorities for approval for the development of research in the universities.
