New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday virtually launched ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’.
Modi addressed university vice-chancellors, heads of institutes and faculty members at workshops across the country via video conferencing.
Emphasising the crucial role of educational institutions in personality development and the nation’s overall development, Modi encouraged the youth fraternity to take part in Voice of Youth workshops.
Reiterating that India is going through a crucial period, which he refers to as ‘Amrit Kaal,’ he said the nation has the opportunity to make significant strides in its development.
He urged the nation to take a pledge that ‘whatever I do should be for a developed India.’
“Today is a very important day regarding the resolutions of a developed India… Today every person, every institution, and every organisation has to move forward with the pledge that whatever I do should be for a developed India. The focus of your goals and your resolutions should be only on developed India,” the PM said.
According to Modi, this golden age of building a developed India is similar to how students feel before and during examination days.
“We have 25 years of Amrit Kaal in front of us. We have to work round the clock for this Amrit Kaal and the goals of a developed India,” he said.
The ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Voice of Youth’ workshop is a wonderful platform for the Yuva Shakti to actively engage and contribute in the journey towards a developed India. https://t.co/JjrlHligBJ
