Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) supremo and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati will arrive in Odisha on Tuesday for a day visit to campaign for party candidates for the ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state, beginning April 11.
According to the schedule, the Prime Minister will address the Vijay Sankalp Samavesh of BJP at Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district at 11 am.
On the other hand, Mayawati will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at around 10 am. She will proceed to the party office from there and then to Baramunda at 11 am, where she will address a public meeting.
Talking to the media here on Tuesday, BSP Odisha unit president Tankadhar Bag said that Mayawati will kick-off the countrywide poll campaign from Bhubaneswar.
