PM Modi To Lay Stone For Infra Projects Of CUO In Odisha’s Koraput Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for various infrastructure projects in the Central University of Odisha (CUO) in Odisha’s Koraput district on Tuesday.

According to official sources, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various infrastructure projects in Centrally funded higher educational institutions under the Department of Higher Education through video-conference on February 20.

The Central University of Odisha at Sunabeda has been included in these institutions. The university will organise a special programme in its campus on the occasion, the sources said.

The projects in the CUO including its administrative building will be executed with a total cost of Rs 129 crore.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will address the function. Several MPs and MLAs from the state, vice-chancellor of the university Prof Chakradhar Tripathi, faculty members and students will also attend the function.
