Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Odisha again on May 20 and hold a roadshow in Puri, BJP’s Puri Lok Sabha candidate Sambit Patra said on Thursday.
Patra said the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a roadshow in the pilgrim town as he has special affection for the people of Puri.
He told the media that Modi is slated to reach Puri around 7 am on May 20 and thereafter visit Jagananth Temple to offer prayers before the sibling deities in the 12th century shrine.
After having darshan at the Jagannath Temple, the PM will embark on his roadshow, he said.
According to BJP sources, Modi is also scheduled to address public gatherings in Cuttack and Angul.
Voting in Puri, Cuttack and Angul, which falls under Dhenkanal LS seat, will be held on May 25.
During his second visit to Odisha in a week, Modi had on May 10 held a 2.5-km roadshow in Bhubaneswar. He also addressed three ‘Vijay Sankalp Yatra’ rallies in Kandhamal, Balangir and Bargarh.
Simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly elections is being held in Odisha in four phases from May 13.
