Malkangiri: A poacher died and another fell critically ill due to asphyxiation inside a cave near Goi hill at Telimeta village in Malkangiri on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ramchandra Madhi and the critically-ill person as Singa Madhi.

According to sources, five poachers had gone to Goi hill for hunting. They were trying to kill porcupine by using smoke inside a cave. But Ramchandra died due to asphyxiation inside the cave. Singa, who fell unconscious, was rushed to a nearby hospital.
