Mayurbhanj: A man sustained serious bullet injuries at Adapai forest under Kaptipada police limits in Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday.
According to sources. he was mistakenly shot at by a poacher in the forest while the latter was trying to target a wild boar.
Notably, the victim, who belongs to Adapai village, is also a poacher.
He was rushed to Mayurbhanj district headquarters hospital for treatment.
On being informed, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
