Bhubaneswar: SAI International School inducted its Student Council Members for the 2022-23 academic session in the first offline Investiture Ceremony, post-pandemic, on Friday.

The presence of Soumendra Priyadarshi, Commissioner of Police Cuttack-Bhubaneswar, as the chief guest, was a great inspiration for the students.
The tone was set by SAI International choir singing songs of hope and leadership after the Commissioner was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers and led to the Indraprastha Auditorium of SAI International School by the NCC Cadets.
The IPS officer addressed SAIoneers as ‘young friends’ as he believes that children of this generation are well-informed budding leaders and go-getters.
“You’re a generation which is exposed to too much information and have an easy access to a bountiful of information, find a way to assimilate and disseminate information and use it informatively,” the Commissioner said.
Congratulating the leaders, he said there’s a leader within everyone, and will lead the society at the end of the day because the cycle of leadership shifts with time.
Priyadarshi reflected on the teachings of Founder-Chairman Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, and said all SAIoneers would shine with his unadulterated blessings.
He added that Dr Sahoo is there as a star to guide all his SAIoneers.
The Student Council members were adorned with sashes and badges while the Club Leaders were given Badges.
SAIoneer Aditya Satpathy and Shreya Patnaik were declared as Head Boy and the Head Girl of SAI International School for 2022-23. All Council members took the oath of responsibility, diligence and commitment towards their responsibilities.
“Becoming a student council leader is a stepping-stone towards an enriching future. Student leaders are the future of our world”, said Chairperson SAI International Education Group Dr Silpi Sahoo, while congratulating each of the School leaders.
