Police Put Up Posters Of Body Found On Riverbank Near Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Police on Saturday issued posters of the face of a deceased youth whose body was found half buried on the Kuakhai riverbank on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

The police posters also carried pictures of the shirt, pant, earring and other belongings recovered from the body for his identification.

The posters said police will reward anyone who can identify the deceased youth.

As many as 100 posters, written in Odia, have been put up in the city. They ahve been pasted on the walls of banks, post offices and hotels as well as ATM counters. Police will also distribute the posters in slum areas.

Notably, the youth’s body was found on Wednesday night. The body must have been buried on the riverbank for three to four days, police said on Thursday.
