New Delhi: BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra on Tuesday took to Twitter to announce that he has been discharged from a hospital after testing negative for COVID-19.
Patra, however, added that he has not yet recovered fully.
The BJP leader was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, Haryana after he developed COVID-19 symptoms on May 28. He was discharged on Sunday.
“I have returned home, thanks to the good wishes from all of you. However, complete recovery will take some more time,” Patra tweeted, according to a report by Times Now.
In response, Delhi BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga tweeted: “Achieve complete recovery, and I will come and have tea with you.”
