Prabhas & Deepika Padukone’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Gets Release Date; Check It Out

Mumbai: Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year.

The sci-fi film boasts a starry ensemble cast comprising Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan.

On Saturday, the makers released a poster and revealed the release date of the film — June 27.

“All the forces come together for a better tomorrow on 27-06-24,” read the caption for the poster shared from the official X account of Kalki 2898 AD.

The poster features Deepika, Prabhas and Amitabh standing beside one another in a desert-like setting with bodies lying around.

The film’s makers had shared a teaser a week ago to reveal Bachchan’s character ‘’ that of Ashwatthama.

“The film starts with Mahabharat and ends in 2898 AD. It spans 6,000 years in time. We tried to create worlds, imagining what they would be like while still keeping it Indian, and not make it look like Blade Runner,” Nag said about the title of the film at an event recently.
