Bhubaneswar: Odisha MP Pratap Sarangi has urged Union Defence Minister for the establishment of a Sainik School at Balasore.
Referring to Finance Minister’s Budget speech to establish 100 new Sainik Schools all over the country, Sarangi wrote that there is a general urge among people of his constituency, where defence establishments like Defence and Research Development Organisation (DRDO) and DRDO laboratory have been established, to join the defence services.
“Therefore, the establishment of a Sainik School at Balasore is highly imperative. Needless to mention that students and teachers will have easy defence-interface to improve their skill and aptitude to prove equal to the demands of our future defence forces,” he added.
