Bhubaneswar: V Karthikeyan Pandian, Private Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and also Secretary of the state government’s 5T initiative, was on Saturday named recipient of the FIH International Hockey Federation (FIH) President’s Award.
FIH announced Pandian as winner of the prestigious award in a virtual conference on the concluding day of its 47th Congress.
Pandian was chosen for the award for his contribution and services to hockey in Odisha.
Hockey India tweeted the news and congratulated Pandian for “a well-deserved acknowledgment for his outstanding contribution and services to hockey in Odisha.”
